Abamectin is a combination of avermectins containing 80% avermectin B1a and 20% avermectin B1b
The avermectins are insecticidal or anthelmintic compounds derived from the soil bacterium
Anthelmintics agents are used to remove intestinal worms from the body such as Tapeworms, roundworms and flukes.
Abamectin is a natural fermentation product of the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis.
Abamectin acts on insects by interfering with neural and neuromuscular transmission.
Application and Uses of Avert
For the treatment of baiting, crack & crevice, voids
Will Control both bait-averse and non-bait averse cockroaches.
Will remain effective for more than one year.
Will reach void areas that gels and bait stations cannot reach.
The cockroaches will pick up a lethal dose by exposure.
